Privacy

What this website collects

Nothing. There are no contact forms, no sign-ups, no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising scripts. The fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, so no third party receives your IP address either. Visiting this site does not create a record of you anywhere.

What happens when you contact me

If you message me on WhatsApp or by email, I will have whatever you send me — typically your name, phone number, business details and anything you choose to write. I use it for one thing: replying to you and, if you go ahead, building your website.

  • Legal basis: your enquiry, and where we go ahead, performance of our agreement.
  • Sharing: I do not sell, rent or pass your details to anyone. Messages sit in WhatsApp and in my email provider, and are covered by their own privacy terms.
  • How long: enquiries that go nowhere are deleted within about a year. Records for work I have actually invoiced are kept as long as Spanish tax law requires.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Message me and I will do it — there is no form and no process, it is one person with a phone.

If you are not happy with how I have handled it, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. None at all — not analytics, not preferences, not advertising. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you to consent to.

The sites I build for clients work the same way unless the client specifically asks for something that needs them, in which case they get told what it means.

Terms

What you are buying

A website built to the style and content agreed with you, published on a domain registered in your name. Prices are as listed on this site and are confirmed in writing before anything starts.

Paying

  • Half up front, half when the site is live and you are happy with it.
  • Work starts when the deposit arrives, not before.
  • If you cancel after work has started, the deposit covers the work already done and is not refunded.
  • If I fail to deliver, you get the deposit back.

Who owns what

  • Yours: your domain, your text, your photos, your logo, and the finished site as published. On final payment it is yours to keep, move or hand to someone else.
  • Mine: the underlying page templates, styles and code that I reuse across every project. You get a permanent right to use them as part of your site; you do not get exclusive rights to them, and I keep building other sites from the same templates.
  • You confirm you have the right to use any photos, logos or text you send me.

Monthly plans

Care plans are month to month with no minimum term. Cancel any time by messaging me and it stops at the end of that month. If you cancel, your site and domain stay yours — you will just need somewhere else to host it, and I will help you move it.

What I do not promise

I cannot promise you a position on Google, a number of enquiries, or a level of sales. Nobody can, and anyone who does is not being straight with you. What I promise is the site itself, set up properly.

Sample sites

I sometimes build a sample site for a business before they have asked, to show what I do. Samples use only that business's own publicly published details, are not indexed by search engines, cost the business nothing and create no obligation. If you are that business and you would rather it did not exist, message me and it comes down the same day.
